I do understand what you mean my friend. However, sometimes all I have the time to quickly type is *HUGS*. I'd rather you at least know I care and read it than think I was ignoring you. But I will try to make my posts more long, drawn out, well thought out, factual, periodical, historically meaningful, news worthy and so forth. So without further ado....

battlefield of.....****buzzzz*****.....the New York Jets will play at Washington in the NFL's season opener Sept. 4, the second straight year the league will begin its schedule on a Thursday night. This year's game will be televised by ABC instead of ESPN, which last season carried the first Thursday opener -- San Francisco at the New York Giants. The rest of the season openers will take place Sunday (Sept. 7) and Monday night (Sept. 8). The rest of the schedule has yet to be announced. The opening game will be preceded by what the league is calling "Kickoff Celebration II.'' No details on the festivities were given. Last year, there was a concert in New York's Times Square. In giving ABC the opener, the NFL decided not to have a Monday night game on the final weekend of the season, Dec. 27-28. Instead they.....*****buzzzz*****.....have come to dedicate a portion of that field as a final resting-place for those who here gave their lives that that nation might live. It is altogether fitting and proper that we should do this. But in a larger sense, we cannot dedicate, we cannot consecrate, we cannot hallow this ground. The brave men, living and dead who struggled here have consecrated it far above our poor power to add or detract. The world will little note nor long remember what we say here, but it can never forget what they did here. It is for us the living rather to be dedicated here to the unfinished work which they who fought here have thus far so nobly advanced. It is rather for us to be here dedicated to the great task remaining before us--that from these honored dead we take increased devotion to that cause for which they gave the last full measure of devotion--that we here highly resolve that these dead shall not have died in vain, that this nation under God shall have a new birth of freedom, and that
government of the people, by the people, for the people shall
