on the road again
So I'm sitting in a hotel room...again. This time we're house hunting in Colorado. It's been such a long day. We left at 8:00 this morning. Left late around 11 or so from SA. Short layover in Dallas. Then we went to the hotel room for about 10 minutes then we left with the realtor. We saw 6 houses today. 5 of them were ugly as fuck. I'm not joking ugly as fuck. They were made in the 80s and they were full of wood. Lots of dark brown wood. gross. The cool thing in Colorado is that all the places have basements. So if a house looks like it's one story from the outside its really two stories because of the basement. There was this one house that had this awesome basement. It had a whole bunch of old time Coca Cola stuff and it was set up like a diner with three different tables. It was so cute. The upstairs was weird though. There were so many oddly shaped rooms. We kept saying "oh this can be the craft room..." There were like 4 possible craft rooms. I'm serious they were so weird it was kinda creepy. There was one that was really cute. I hope they buy it. The house is beautiful. three stories. HDTV, pool table and weight set comes with it. The owners also own a lab and they have a doggie door that goes from the kitchen to the garage and another one from the garage to the backyard. Then in the backyard they have a pen for him and it's really big. The cutest part is the little kittie door that goes from the living area to the steps to the basement. It's just a little hole in the wall it's so cute. Then we saw this super weird house. It had this scary spiral staircase that made me dizzy. But supposedly the owners entertained John Lennon and Lucille Ball. Interesante. Then we went to Red Lobster and I pigged out because I love to do that. I had shrimp scampi and their shrimp fettuchinni. I get that like every time I go. It reminded me of the time Javi and I went after he played at the lab. We have such good memories. Things are really turning up for us. I'm so happy for that. I'm moving on the 18th. So by the time I come home I'll only have 1 week left to live with the crazy bitch and her dog. YAY! I'll have my own place I'm so excited. Well it's been a long day and I'm so tired. I get to do it all over again! Oh yeah it's still really cold here. wtf? that should be against the law.
