"I Could Have Danced All Night"

The AEPi Swing Party last night was all kinds of fun. I love the twirly skirt my grandma got me for Christmas. There was an impressively large turn-out. There was also the usual range of dancers, from those who just learned that night to those who had been doing this for awhile. You could tell that the ones who started at the party last semester had improved, though. It's been nice following again. And it wasn't just swing. There were a few cha-chas, a couple of sambas, a polka (amazingly fun), and it ended with a waltz (I love DJs who take requests). I'd been waltzing abysmally at competition team practice yesterday afternoon. It's amazing how much easier it is when you haven't been thinking about your posture and frame to the point where you forget the steps.
