Things are getting done! Yay!
Anyway, let's see... what's been going on lately...
I saw Garden State, the movie written and directed by Zach Braff, star of Scrubs, and uber-cool dude. Immensely enjoyable, and it really shows another side of him rather than wacky J.D. It's definitely in the Donnie Darko genre of unique semi-underground films. FIND IT. SEE IT.
So what else... we went to both malls, we being Sean, Alex, and I, and picked up countless job applications. So far we've done 4: EBGames, Gamestop, Media Play, and Waldenbooks. I also still wanna check out work study, if that's possible, considering work-study is so easy and so not retail, lol. But I DO need the money of a regular part time job, so we'll see what the budget says.
Not to mention I'm still missing $400... X-P
So yeah, other than that, it's been all... stuff. School stuff, comfy pants time, playing games, watching Invader Zim DVD (Jhonen Vasquez rocks), and cooking and cleaning. That's right, WE COOK! And by that I mean Sean cooks while I give him things... and stir. And clean pans. I'm helpful! ^_^
At one point, we had the two best parking spots outside the house, the one in front and the one across the street, but the problem is it's 6 hour parking. Solution? ROTATE CARS! We were so proud of our craftiness, lol. Then we found out no one really enforces the signs there. But we're still crafty, dammit! :-D
This whole living on your own thing really isn't that hard to get used to. So far, anyway, lol. All 3 or so days... heh.
So I just handed in my tuition bill and I thought I'd check up on you guys. I miss you! Come see us! Don't hesitate to call, even if it's just to say hi! Peace and Love, all!
