Fun Friday the 13th!
Not every day can you say you randomly ended up backstage at a concert in Bayshore. Nothing big scale, but they sounded really good, especially the opening guy playing acoustic, who then played bass with the rest of the band.
That would be thanks to Sarah and Artie, and yes, they rock. X-D
Backtracking a bit... the morning was kinda slow, lol... and by slow, I mean I got nothing done till maybe 1:00. :-P Then I went to BJ's with mom, and we got lots of random crap, food and whatnot, I grabbed some clothes cuz they were cheap, mostly comfy pants.
And boxers, lmao...
Me: "I got KNIT boxers!"
Sarah: "Things I don't need to know about!"
Me: "They're COZY and they have unrippable superpowers!"
Sarah: "ARRRGH!"
It went something like that, lol. Even better was crossing the busy street in Bayshore:
Me: "Careful! Why don't we just go to that crosswalk over there?"
Sarah: "Please, this is just like Frogger... except a lot more painful if you lose!"
Good times, hahaha.
I got this Dane Cook CD/DVD at fye, cheap, too, and he's a funny, funny man. We listened to it in Artie's truck, it was silliness.
And I STILL never found a f#(!*ing lanyard! Bah. Even though went to the mall service thingy, thanks to Joe, whom I randomly ran into. He rocks too, lol. I should've just gotten the "Work Sucks" Office Space one, but I'm holding out for better.
Fuck me and my comsumer-whoreish ways! Not to mention this horrible habit I'm developing of skipping lines every time I have a remotely different train of thought!

EDIT: Sarah put an "on sale $14.99" on my shirt from fye lol. I shockingly *cough* got no offers! Except for one dude who had a credit card. Psh. Poseur. Then at that gig about 3 people asked Artie if I knew I had the sticker on me. I must seem really weird sometimes. Most of the time. '^_^
