one of those updates...
hey, friends... i know, you probably think that i can't post a bulletin without some type of silly survey or whatever... but i just wanted to send out a quick update before i head off to bed...
Brian & I:
Things are going well... We are trying to get adjusted to married life but things are going well! :) In some ways, it's hard to believe that we've been married for nearly 7 weeks! ;) woo hoo, huh?! ;) Anyway, to those of you that were able to share in that with us... THANK YOU! :) I know that I have been promising to post wedding pics forever... And no fear, I really will... For those of you know that me well, I am forever SLOW on posting pics sometimes! ;) But right now, I can't even scan them as they are all at B's parents' house! But as soon as we get them back & get the scanners hooked up, I will try to get some type of slideshow out there for you all to see! ;)
The New Job:
I am having a good time going to work every day! There aren't many places that you can work with an entire female staff! ;) It's definitely a far cry from hanging out with all my boys! You know, not only did I marry my Brian but also his best friends, too! ;) And everyone keeps confusing who I did marry, so me & the girls crack up at work!
Other Aspects Of My Life:
I just feel really burdened for my sister... Some of you know her & some of you don't... My oldest sister, Sherry was diagnosed with kidney failure and needing a kidney & pancreas transplant as of last summer... Anyway, she has tried to be really strong & try to make sure that my wedding day was really special... Anyway, she was admitted into the hospital about 2 weeks ago... She is now undergoing dialysis! I don't know much about it! I haven't been able to talk to her! Everytime I start to call her, I realize that she is in her treatment... She goes Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays & is there for about 5 hours! Mom said that it simply wears her out! She has 3 young boys & doesn't get to spend time with them at all during those days! I haven't been home since she began this process... We are hoping to get home in the next couple weeks! I just want to be able to spend as much time as possible with her! This summer has been really tough for me as I have never been homesick in my life but I have been since I moved down here! :(
Alright friends... I think I will be heading to bed soon so I can get up in about 6 hours! :P My Brian is making some sweet tea for tomorrow! :) YAY for sweetie husbands! :)
