this is me heartbroken with 9 days before my wedding... :(
all along, we have planned on my Grandpa to walk me down the aisle as he is the closest thing i have to my Daddy! my uncle replied to my e-mail today saying he thinks it's unwise for Grandpa to make the trip... so that leaves me wondering who i can have walk me down the aisle... i said that i wanted my mom to walk me down if Grandpa wasn't able to... but mom would be escorted down to light the unity candle & then have to rush back to walk me down... i just don't know if i want to wear her out since her walking isn't the best... i would give ANYTHING for my Daddy to be here on my special day as he was one of the most special people in my life! i have been in tears since reading my uncle's reply... i just forwarded that to my sisters & to Brian... we'll see what they say...
