I am more than disturbed by this conversation. First as it implies there's meaning behind the wearing of the bowls, and second, that they see you as some god-like figure, Millicent.

Perhaps an anthropologic study is required here.

That seems most appropriate when trying to determine why people would be wearing bowls on their heads.
