self-esteem...
self-esteem issues - i think most of us do suffer from it - esp. now with resolutions and stuff...
with my mom and people around me - i've had shitty self-esteem cuz mom always keep telling me i'm not skinny enough and even now after loosing weight, she still makes comments how my waist.tummy/love-handles are now bigger than before i lost the weight... i dunno if she's blind or just that nothing i do ever good enough... comparing me to my family members with their achievements (it makes me feel like a bloody failure) so here's to hoping doing the following list will make me feel better.
hun - can u fill it out for me? and either send back to me in email or just post the comment.

Most people feel bad about themselves from time to time. Temporary feelings of low self-esteem may be triggered by being treated poorly by someone else recently or in the past, or by a person's own judgments of him or herself. Low self-esteem is a constant companion for too many people, especially those who experience depression. If you go through life feeling bad about yourself needlessly, low self-esteem keeps you from enjoying life, doing the things you want to do, and working toward personal goals.
To improve your self-image, try making lists, rereading them often, and rewriting them from time to time. The process will help you to feel better about yourself. If you have a journal, you can write your
lists there. If you don't, any piece of paper will do.
Make a list of :
* At least 5 of your strengths
--creativity, openess, positivity& optimism (they are lacking currently), adaptability, outgoing, generosity, caring, humour, being able to laugh about myself and situations, being there for others
* At least 5 things you admire about yourself
--drive & ambition, being active, always up for a challenge, willing to try new things, fast-thinker, determination, always try to have fun,
* The 5 greatest achievements in your life so far (4/5)

* 10 ways you can "treat" or reward yourself that don't include food and that don't cost anything (6/10) - i dunno but this one is kinda hard...
