Hair
I totally had this idea that I was going to grow my hear out. But instead I got a haircut. Next time, I told the stylist I usually go to-does someone who does haircuts for men for $12 qualify as a "stylist"?-that I would grow it out and come just to clean the sides and back and thin out the hair a bit.
The stylist did the thing that she does which makes me want to tip her if I wasn't a cheap bastard. And she said I have "gorgeous hair". Her words. That wasn't the thing, mind you, but it was still very surprising to hear those words in reference to my hair, for the sole reason that I've never heard it said about my hair before.
I was thinking of growing out, though this week there are a lot of work-related social events that require me to look efficient and prepared, and a short haircut to me is the epitome of efficient and prepared.
