My new iPhone makes me look stupid
I've only had the thing for about 36 hours and already...
1. I decided not to put the cheap headphones it came with in my backpack as a backup pair of headphones because I never forget to bring my good headphones with me. I proceeded to forget my good headphones for the first time this week.
2. I just spent an hour shopping for a new travel speaker/charger/dock dohinkle after becoming convinced that the one I had couldn't charge my new iPhone. Eventually I tried to plug in the AUX input (for non-Apple MP3 players) so I could charge the thing while using the speakers. That was when I discovered that in the interests of symmetry, the power 3.5 mm power jack fits perfectly in the AUX input hole. This also probably explains the strange hum that it was making. (It has batteries so it can produce music and LED on lights without being plugged in...)
3. I have already placed 3 orders for cases for it, but still don't have it in a case. (#1 was back ordered and I didn't notice until today. Cancelled and reordered from another company. Then realized that I don't really want to leave it unprotected for a whole extra week, and ordered the cheapest thing I could find off Amazon that qualified for Prime and looked like it would offer a reasonable amount of protection.)
It's sure slick though. There is a very sensuous feel to the screen that my 2nd generation touch didn't have.
I need to come up with a more creative name for it than Snap Dragon II... I need a flower that properly captures it's character... and isn't already in use on our home network.
