I'm here!
We made it (for those of you who thought Whitey Version 2.0 [my Focus] would fail me)..you were mistaken. The drive went really well, it did not seem like 25 hours. Bee & I switched off at every gas stop and it went by fast. Aside from Colorado, I was so scared driving through there. And Utah is very boring. We made it to Vegas at about 7:30 p.m. Wednesday night. We went to Bee's aunt & uncle's (Na Oy and Mark) place and they took us out for dinner, then informed us they had booked us a hotel..that was too nice!!
Thursday we went to a place called Red Rock with Na Oy & Mark, and they then took us eat at Kona Grill. The food was amazing, we ate way too much. Then Bee & I wanted to see Mel's aunt and cousins so we headed to Lake Las Vegas (ooh la la) and hung out with Beverly for a little while. Then my dad was in town so went over to meet him & Debbie at the new Wynn casino and we walked around the strip for a little while. Friday morning we met them for brunch then watched the White Sox SWEEP the Red Sox at the sports bar in the Flamingo. Bee & I then headed off to L.A. We got here around 9 last night and checked into the Holiday Inn (whatcha doin? Nothin...chillin at the Holiday Inn)...and my friend from school Nick met us there. He took us around for a little while because he's been living here a month already and because Bee was leaving today. We went to Hollywood & Highland and In & Out and the Brady Bunch house..lol.
This morning Bee & I had our continental breakfast then came over to the apartments I'll be living in. She helped me move in and Nick came by again to help us get her to LAX. Now I'm here...all by myself..well..one of my roommates have arrived. Thats about it. I start my class stuff Monday..I need to find somewhere to watch the Bears game tomorrow..
