I am actually not that tired to type... tis a miracle
Not that I actually have enough energy to type a entry, but count on my eyes staying open too long. I really think I am starting to go cross eyed since I am starting to get a little sleepy.
Anyways, I hope everyone had a good fourth. Mine was pretty good. Probably the best fourth I have had in a while. I was at the boyfriend's house and he cooked for the family. It was nice to have everyone together for a change. We went to go see some fireworks at a close by park and it was cool since they shoot them over the water. So that is my fourth in a nutshell.
So... this school thing. Yeah. Needless to say it is kicking my ass! I don't think I have worked this hard in a while. What ever happen to sleeping in class and making "A's", ahh the good ol' days. I finished one course that was not really worth my time. A one hour credit and I probably did more work in there since I have started college. Craziness!
I start observation again tomorrow. This time I am working in a third grade class and I am sort of nervous. I am comfortable with kindergarten and first grade, but third? I remember how I was in third grade... and I wasn't the best student in the classroom. Main reason was because I didn't really care for my teacher. We really didn't see eye to eye on a lot of things. Plus, she would always send home letters saying that I was lazy. Maybe I am, but still... I got my work done on time, what more did she want from me? Jeez, and it also reminds me how I was out of school a week with the flu and they were taught fractions during that time. When I came back she told me that I was smart enough in math that I teach myself how to do them. And I was the lazy one?!? Lol, okay enough about my little flashback moment. I have got to get twenty hours in before July 25. I think I can do it if I push myself.
In other news, my birthday is next Thursday and it really just seems like another day. It is funny as we get older how much the meaning of birthdays change. The boyfriend and the family wanna take me out to dinner. Luckily, I won't have my 4 o'clock class that day which works out great. So I will have freedom by noon! Yay! =)
Anyways, I think I have talked enough for one night... so I will call it good for today.
