Couldn't pick a better man in charge of this operation

Alright, as most of you already know, we're planning to launch an attack on the Earth Cradle in a few days.  As the person here most accustomed to it, I'm taking the liberty to go over a few things we should keep in mind.

For one, the Earth Cradle is nearly impregnable.  It's designed to be the last little patch of dirt on this planet to hold out ( Read more... )

Things like this are important. The Shadow Mirrors get what they want more than anything else if they can drag the world into a prolonged war, even if it's simply a war against them.

This is our best shot and ending this or, barring that, at least crippling them.

Yes, you're right.

As for the defenses...I volunteered for the mission. If there is a weak point anywhere on the Earth Cradle, then the Kurogane can exploit it.

It probably can. At the very least, that drill will let us tunnel as close to the Cradle as possible.

Indeed I do. You don't oversee the military there without knowing where the only real door in or out is.

A section of the Cradle's outer shell is mechanized and can open, it's referred to as the "Gate of Magus". Anything that wants to come in or go out has to pass through that when it's open.

If we play our cards right, we'll be able to use that opening to get in when the Shadow Mirrors send their troops out to meet us. And if not? Well... I suppose that would be the ideal place to try to drill through.
