Livejournal and ads? Not so sure I like that.

At the moment my CR-V is being repaired. Another day mostly at home, with apts lost. Time spent doing the odds and ends that feel like nothing but otherwise seem avoidable. Renewed AMTA membership, bought some stuff, paid some bills, completed transcript requests for LSAC (thinking NOW vs. LATER would be better, if I am too dismayed in response to my still-unknown LSAT score). Ongoing communication difficulties at day job. A classic mercury retrograde scenario.

The car had a damaged oxygen sensor and some strange part of the clutch (that I HOPE they will have success with locating/ordering). Best of all, these are covered under my warranty. I have to find my way there early tomorrow, for my complimentary, courtesy, on-the-house rental car.

Tomorrow I see my doctor, giving him one final chance to treat me for a host of symptoms that include:

1. Chronic, low-level nausea for the last two months, with occasional vomiting episodes (unvoluntary - I actually threw up my dinner the other night while on the toilet properly, rendering a trash can unusable, because who really wants to wash off vomit?)

2.Intense sinus irritation with frequent (embarassing, uncomfortable) sneezing fits for at least the last three months

3. Wheezing fits that harken to my asthmatic childhood, on and off of the steroid machine I was so often rushed to various hospitals to enjoy - last 2 months. At their worst in the morning and evening. I bought an $800 air purifier today that might help.

4. Inability to lose much weight in spite of overall careful diet, and significantly raised physical activity (have been weightlifting with a former marine 1-2X a week for the last two months in addition to my cardio routine. He says I'm among his most fit female clients, and my workouts get harder and harder. He thinks it's hormonal).

Rob and I went to Las Vegas to meet the Porkies and lose money. It was great, perhaps except for the part where I (a zombie) fed money into machines that only occasionally belched some back. The trip exceeded my few expectations, and I learned that scrabble is the best-possible way to kill airplane paranoia/ time wasted in travel. Rob is a saint as well as a lucky bastard. WE have been discussing The Future, and it may even be possible that ours would coincide.
