Indonesia Preparations
I finally bought myself a digital camera yesterday. I bought a Sony 4MP camera for $86. Brand spankers and in a sealed box. Laughin. I also got a 512MB mem card and case and a spare set of rechargeable batteries all for under $160. My next days shopping were not filled with any bargains like this. I paid full retail for everything, but that is OK. I bought a sun hat, a travel towel, some new unmentionables, soap, sunscreen and a travel belt. The last thing I purchased was a tube of insect repellant with a rather scary warning. It says, "Avoid contact with eyes, mouth cell phones, spectacle frames, other plastics, painted surfaces, vinyl seat covers and synthetic fabrics." The scarier warning though states, "Dispose of empty container by wrapping in paper, placing in plastic bag and putting in garbage." No wonder it repels insects. The insects are probably the only smart creature around and are staying away coz they know how bad the stuff is.
