This morning we had the home inspection, and everything looks great.  There are only three minor things wrong with the house that we can fix ourselves with minimal cost involved.  We found out the water heater is about 10 years old, so we'll probably be replacing it soon and the air conditioning unit has about 5 years left on it.  When we were at Lowes this weekend we looked at tankless water heaters and they aren't as expensive as we thought.  There are definitely quite a few things that we'll want to do with the house before we have a child, though.  However, they are only cosmetic and not a necessity.

I think Scott's going to put in a fence himself because it will be cheaper.  He'll also probably set up the gas to the house (for the stove) himself, too.

Overall, everything is coming together pretty well and we're getting more and more excited.  The termite inspector comes today as well, but he was late, so we couldn't stay for that part.  I'm betting the house will be fine, though.  It's very well made.  Today we got to spend like 2 hours in the house just hanging out during the inspection and that was nice.  I've already moved in, in my mind.  Does anyone have like a clothes steamer?  There's a wallpaper border in the master bedroom and in the guest bath that we want to remove.  Scott says he can use the heat gun from work, but that sounds to me like a recipe for disaster.

Kim's wedding last night was beautiful.  Traffic was awful, therefore Scott and I were late, but luckily the wedding started late and I was able to read the poem with no problems.  It started sprinkling rain about halfway through the ceremony (which was outdoors), but it was gorgeous because once Kim and Ted walked down the aisle together, the sun came out and the raindrops continued to kiss everyone.  They'll be going to Chicago (Kim lived there as a child) for their honeymoon today.  They're going to freeze!!!
Edit:

Here is a tiny picture.  Please don't squint, it's not good for your eyes.
