Today's find at a different grocery store:
Organic single malt speyside scotch and
fair trade rum. Too bad I don't generally like speysides.
I also discovered, as I wandered around the store, that organic and fair trade product were mixed in with regular stock and they carried their own colour-coded identifiers on the front of the shelf so they stood out from the regular stuff. The same was done for local products, meats and produce.
I was also thrilled to bits to see all the fish labelled with where and how it was caught. That makes it so much easier to make sustainable choices.
It's at time like these I feel that Canada is really quite backwards... or at least severely lagging behind the curve.
