There Be More Music!
I finally caved and paid for the latest firmware upgrade for my iTouch. I didn't want most of the apps that came with the upgrade, but I wanted to be able to install last.fm and that meant upgrading. I'm also considering getting an iPhone and this upgrade would let me see how well the mail application works for me.
I love last.fm. I loved Pandora before they blocked Canadian IPs and last.fm has all the features of Pandora and then some. I can make custom stations based on specific artists or styles of music. Last.fm then finds songs and artists that are similar and adds them into my playlist. Given the sorry state of Montreal radio, this is great way to discover new music. I can also include artists and songs in my playlist that I don't actually own. I've been using last.fm on my computer for a while, but having it on my iTouch means that it doesn't slow down my computer plus the sound is better and I can listen to it anywhere in the house or where there is a wifi connection.
This morning I was making pancakes to John legend. Now it's email with the Sisters. Sweet.
