I'm back. Kraków was nothing special, have a lot photos of animals o_O Heh, I don't like animals, but my sister loves them... There is only one photo I like:

Cute, isn't it?

Next we went to IKEA. I bought package of chopsticks, heh. Yeah. I don't need much thing to live, heh. Anyway.

Eto, I wanted to write sth, but I don't rememb... Ach! I know. Yesterday I watched a quite interesting film ^__^

"The Libertine" by Laurence Dunmore.

Film isn't perfect. There is a lack of something in it. But about it later, maybe sth about story? This is history of John Wilmot, XVII century poet, pervert, alcoholic and at all as title says libertine. It's his story told by himself, it's kind of searching own place in this whole rotten world, looking for new experiences, very ofen disastrous for him. He is lost in alcohol, sex, experiments with his body. Unfulfilled in love and literature, disappointed, full of scorn and anger. To find somehow aim, to made live much more worthy, he is trying to teach young actress how to be good on stage. It's going quite well. But after writing one act, which was abusive for king, he was banish. Then starts his straight way to hell. Through syphilis, pain and alcohol.
This is in fact one actor's film. Splendid role of Johnny Depp, who played amazingly deadly tired, sick, dying men. No actor in this film is as good as him. It's his film. And I adore him in this.
Film is average. Director, i think, didn't know if that film should be phatetic or rather provocative. Full of sex, 'bad' words, povocative scenes but also pathos, dusky, dim scenery and lofty words. It'd be a good mix if proportions will be well-balanced. But they didn't. So, film is average, dominate by Johnny Depp. And I think only because of him I still like this film. Yeah. It was worth sitting in front of screen til 3 a.m.

And my answer to Johnny's last question in this film
Do you like me now?
is "No, but I still admire you and your skills as an actor"

That's it. After all I wrote too much. Sorry for all mistakes. It's not my good day for English, heh.

Love you all. <3

Good night.

review, the libertine
