Atlanta Memories

I haven't been on JL in soooo long that I had forgotten the password. But the main reason that I'm posting is because I haven't written anything much since I've moved to Atlanta - (And as most people already know, I'm in the process of moving back, like tomorrow - promise). I felt that I owed it to myself to reminisce on all the good times I experienced from living out of state for like a minute, or the longest visit of my life (however you wana see it).

In the beginning I was pretty much just me and the boys. Jason, Drew, and Michael. All I have to say about this time is DOTA and TRACY RUNNNNNN!

Well there were also some good frisbee games, swinging in the park, rock climbing, trivia night, cards, and dancing on occasion. Oh and lets not forget the first game of sardines in the dark. :)

After many weeks of unemployment I of course went back to doing what I do best pretty much where ever I go, which is teach gymnastics. And like most previous gyms I worked for, this one sold. Luckily it sold to the owner of the facility and to a pretty cool guy who actually had money enough to keep the gym afloat. Also, the gym was backed by a super awesome gym manager, which is very vital in itself. All n' all, it was a good place to be. It was even worth the super long drive of 45 minutes, which is where I caught up on soooo much of my reading book on tape.

Then the back up arrived.... Tara and Tif brought some powerful estrogen T power to the house. Although the girls arrived mid-June it is really hard to remember the time before they came to Atlanta.

Living in Atlanta has taught me many things including how to deal with a gas leak, that I have a fear of cockroaches, and that I'm capable of driving a moving truck all on my own (ok, ok, ok so it was the smallest truck but size doesn't matter, right?)
I am honestly sad to leave my house mates, but at the same time I'm ready to be back in Kentucky. I am very much looking forward to spending time getting things organized in one place. Most importantly, this move has made me grateful for the friends I have in my life... both near and far.
