Song at a red light
From the white car that pulled up at a red traffic light
issued a pleasant voice, singing. The young man driving
the car was singing something classical - not humming
but singing full-throatedly. He was totally engrossed in
his song blissfully oblivious to the curious, amused and
appreciative glances he was attracting.
Such a welcome change from the ear-splitting moojhik
and snatches of shrill conversation that one usually catches
at red lights. For once, silli was entertained rather than
irritated by the slow - moving traffic. : )
