So we got informed today about the Visual Communication part of the HKU. And Illustration is part of Visual Communication, so I was all ears.
It was... fascinating, and also immensely scary to hear all that information. I actually had butterflies in my stomach listening to the guy.
"A Visual Communicator has to be: intelligent, must have analytical abilities, sensitive, curious, conceited, organized, not conservative, be able to think in images, interested in people, open for new developments, believe in yourself, doubt yourself, be able to see the broad out-lines, have eye for detail, want to work with others."
He also told about the different directions and how the profession is changing.
All in all, it made me both very excited and scared. But I can do this. *determent*
Also, I haven't been able to read everything on my friends list the last few days. I've read most of it, but I'm sorry if I missed something important.
