It's time for handmade presents again \o/

This weekend my middle sister and her fiancé came over to celebrate a veeeery belated Sinterklaas/Christmas. As we do every year, we get assigned one person who we make a present for (some of you might remember last year, when my sister made me Worry Hunters). This year, I had to make a present for my dad. I made him this:

A Beatles messenger bag :D

:D :D :D

Look at the awesome fabric I found for the inside:

It's pretty big, so lots can fit in it:

On the lightbox to turn it into lineart.

Lineart drawing.

Transferring the drawing onto the fabric with transfer paper.

The drawing on the fabric.

Time to embroider it on.

The endresult.

Time to make the bag. I got the pattern from a magazine.

putting the outside and inside together.

Almost done.

My middle sisters fiancé had me, and he made me a Captain America themed present. :D

How awesome is this?

It's actually a broche:

And here's what the rest of the family made:

My mom had my sisters fiancé and made him a wolf mug rug:

My dad had my middle sister and made her an wooden owl:

He also wrote her THIS awesome poem, but it's in Dutch, so only interesting for my Dutch friends. :3

My middle sister had my youngest sister, and made her a subby Ray Kowalski from Due South:

It actually does squeak. :')

Background in the box:

The cut-out boyfriend:

My youngest sister had my mom, and she drew her a tropical frog:

So many awesome gifts. :D :D
