JIB con and Art
Yesterday I finally got the email with the passnumber I managed to get for JIBcon 7, and whoo boy. I fricken managed to score bflyw and me front row seats! \o/ I got AP08, and I still can't really believe it. Combined with the fact I managed to get myself a Jensen and a J2 photo-op, AND I'll be rooming with two of my favorite people (bflyw and kreespa)... JIB7 is gonna rock! :D :D
(Now I just have to start practising asking for a hug in my photo ops. I'm not a very touchy feely person, and I have a pretty big 'personal space' field around me. I also have a lot of respect for other peoples personal space and I don't like touching people if I'm not sure if they like being touched. The fact that I actually touched J2's shoulders at JIB5 was a huge break through for me. But I want that hug, I'm just seriously scared asking for it. So yeah, practising will have to happen. If anyone has any tips... )

Remember the Snail mail meme I did a little while ago? I sent off all the letters a little while ago, so most of them should have arrived at their destination by now. While I was in the process of writing these letters, I came across a postcard sketchbook I'd gotten years back. I also resently gotten myself a set of 12 watercolor pencils, and I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to try them out. I set a challenge for myself to try and finish each drawing in about an hour. Definitely needed a little time to get into the flow, but I felt that with each drawing, I got a little better at it. Mediums I used were pencil, watercolor pencils, water and colored pencils to make it look a little more polished.

This was the first one. I made this one for cassiopeia7, who I know loves ratties, and asked me a question about my ratties.
Second one was for roxymissrose. Season 1 Sam and Dean listening to John's voicemail. :)
Third one was for matchboximpala. Dean looking at Sam after their hug in Mystery Spot.
I did 4 more, will post those later this week. :)
