About shopping, family and pictures.

* Went shopping with my mom yesterday. The day was beautiful; not to cold or to hot, no rain etc. Because it was a wednesday, it wasn't too crowded, which was nice. There where certain shops I wanted to visit (like the Clairs, to replace a hairstick the dog chewed on. >_>), and we both managed to find some nice stuff. I actually managed to find a lot of nice stuff. :'3

My loot:

It's really a lot, especially stalled out like this. XD

Close-up view of the earrings and bracelet:

Tea, cup-cakes and butterflies! \o/

Also, I got myself a pocketwatch:

Right now, it's on a necklace, but I'm planning to buy a chain for it. :)

Also also? I got all the season of the A-team on dvd! \o/ It's boxed in BA's van! :D :D

Me thinks I need to have an A-Team marathon. :'3

So yeah, great day. :D

* About two weekends back, we had a family weekend. We went to stay at a Stay-Okay hotel with the whole gang (about 35 people in all. Not everyone could make it this time, sadly.) It was really fun, and nice to see everyone again. Especially my cousins and their children. My aunts and uncles I see on my mom and dad's birthday, but the cousins never come to those things. Days like this makes me realize though that I haven't seen some of my cousins from my dad's side in years. We really should organize a family day/ weekend on my dad's side too. Anyway.

So, I wanted to do something 'fancy' with my hair, so I decided I wanted to wear it loose for a change. So the night before, I made four braids, and put some soft curlers in the ends. End result was this:

The curls where a bit to small to my liking, but it looked okay. At the end of the day it was one big frizz fest though. :/

Me and my dad, and my sisters boyfriend behind me.

We stared the day off with a cup of tea or coffee with cake (one of my cousins had arranged something cowmilk free for me. <3). Cue lot's of talking and catching up. After about an hour, the games where pulled out, and people dispersed to do different things.

Then it was time to eat and we went inside. After diner, some people went back outside. Others stayed in to do some games of the card and board variety. This was also the time I handed one of my cousins the drawing I made of her kids. She'd asked me a while ago, and I finally managed to finish it. She really liked it, thankfully. I did ask some money for it (a drawing like that takes me at least 8 hours. I'm not doing those for free anymore, unless I want to make a present out of them.), and I'm planning to spend it on buying a photo-opp for Mark Sheppard at JIBcon 2. Love me some Crowley. :'3
To go back to the family weekend... The next day we started off with breakfast, and after that, people packed their bags and cleaned out the rooms. Then we all piled into the cars and made our way to a forrest for a nice walk.
Well, that was the idea, anyway. It took a little while before everyone had found the right parking terrain, and then it started to rain. XD We went anyway, and had a lot of fun.

My grandpa, sister, her boyfriend and my uncle Herman.

When we got back to the parking terrain, a group picture was taken. Then we decided to split up and go our own ways. Finding a place to eat with 35 people on a rainy day is almost impossible to do. My family, and a few uncles, aunts and cousins and my grandpa (in total about 15 people) decided to go get something to eat in a nearby town. We managed to find a place that had enough room, and sat there for a while. I actually only drank some tea. There wasn't really anything there I could order that was 'safe' for me to eat, and with a carjourney of about an hour and a half to follow after, I thought it wise to stick to the tea. :'3
After everyone had finished eating, we all left for home.

* Here, have some more pictures:
I feel like such a girl lately. I feel like I'm buying new shoes/boots every month. :'3 Anyway... I really like these, and it's the first time since ages I've bought something with a bit of a heel on it.

And look at this. I crocheted a cup of coffee. :'3

Got me some rocket shaped pop molds, and they're awesome. I can make rocketshaped icecreams, people!

How cool is that?

Frozen strawberry/mango/banana/soy-yogurt smoothie on a stick. \o/

* Last but not least, my updated to-read-list. I got Jim Beavers book in the mail the other day, and I can't wait to start reading it. Still leaves me with the problem to find time for it though. I'll figure it out eventually, I hope.
