More progress
This will probably be my last update before Minamicon, partly because I'm leaving tomorrow morning, and partly because I want to keep the full, finished coat for the con itself :P
Anyway, this is how it looked on my last update:
And this is how it looks as of this morning:
The bottom has been fully hemmed with the help of a couple of friends, and the trim has been fully attached down the front. I'm very pleased with how all of that has come out. The trim along the bottom has mainly been pinned, but I ran out of bias binding - the funny thing with the bottom of this coat is that I always forget just how big its circumference is - so I need to go out for a last-minute supplies shop. I need some paints, primer, funky foam and embroidery thread too. It should all be finished by this evening, but if I'm finishing off the epaulettes on the train or something, I think I can live with that ^_^
I've said it before, but I'll say it again - I am so happy with how this has come out, and I can't wait to show it off at the con :D
