Life is goood!
Oh so good. I've been bowling with friends... (best quote of the evening: "if there had've been a pin there, you'd have hit it" I mean, what can you say?!) Partying with a bunch of people I've never met before and finished all my work for this term. Yay!
Bowling was great fun. It was cosmic bowling, which meant we did it under ultraviolet light and everything glowed :) Lil pulled. Not literally, but the guy on the desk was chatting her up, and he changed her name on the board to "sexy"! We were half way through the 2nd game before we noticed!!! I started the evening with a strike, and managed a double strike too. Yay! It's so good to have friends.
And last night was brilliant. Helen and I went with Warwick Pride to Rainbows (finally. I've lived in Coventry for 10 years, and never went... despite Katie, Bonnie and I meaning to go every Thursday!!!) Went with Alex and Wes and Ryan and had a fab night. We talked in the pubby bit, danced on the dance floor, was entertained by a drag queen ("don't you wish your girlfriend had a cock like me?"!) We did pre-drinks at Lil's with Lil and Sian (who didn't come boohoo!) and we're planning on finishing off drinks on Thursday after a Christmas dinner.
As I said... life is good. I haven't been so sociable in years.
And I've printed out my report. Time for an early night :)
