White Noize forms the Heart of Lothian...

A call to Mrs Baps aka Gallant today made me realise I haven't been here for a while. Again. Life is busy during the day, umpteen phone calls to sort out our future peach factory in Godalming. This evening, at a loose end, I found myself in Uwe's *office* drinking some fairly awful white wine, because that's the only way I was going to see him this evening for more than five minutes. His boss politely ignored me due to my recently re-dyed hair - thought for a moment Uwe might be having an affair. A moment longer and he would have realised the poor man doesn't have time for extra curricula activities of any sort... No wonder I've taken up pole dancing classes.

So I walked home with an odd choice of Mono No Aware or Marillion. Chaos and order out of chaos with noizy overtones, or pure teenage angst... I hate to say it, but this evening the Marillion won. This one's for you moomintroll...

But in fact I'm fairly cheerful (as I try to convince Flavio in a voluminous email...). Next week it will be fjords, sea and kippers all round. A boat with at least five bars, and free beer. Today I got the beauty salon price list, so I'm happy as a, well, happy thing. And in the meantime, sushi, picnics, and (finally) sprog visiting. It's all good...
