Pre-christmas blues
Arghhh... Bought paint for my new flat, and it is dawning on me just how much it is going to cost for new curtains, throws, kitty playthings, security bars...
Uwe is in the don't leave me and go on holiday camp, we can always go somewhere together next year and save lots of much needed cash now... I'm swaying that way because (i) I don't know any small children to reap the organs from, and (ii) Fizzgig is truly thre spawn of Satan and won't tell me where he's hidden the gold stash. And if it's in his litter tray, I ain't going for it. Plus (iii) I would quite like a habitable new flat instead of a soul-empty box...
Ho hum. To cheer myself up I went to try and find some boots (which I need, so I don't care that I can't afford them), and to my horror discovered that the shops have started to put out their XMAS DISPLAYS!!! Ugh.
