The Establishment. Not a planned suppression of growth, necessarily, but nevertheless a real one. It has been going on for centuries, Melanie even. The whole situation seems to be getting better. Slowly. Its the acceleration. A long slow acceleration out of this mess. I feel much activity in 'the field.' This 'the field' thing ... I'm not sure what to call it. But if I stop and feel myself and my projection of myself I feel some turbulence, some indecisiveness around me. I feel like a decision is being made by all of us. Unconsciously at the moment, but hopefully someday consciously. It feels like something major. Like we could either enter into more war and more distopia or we could rise out of this and have something great. People with this thought tend to point to 2012. Since many cultures throughout time have agreed that this a date of change there is almost certainly something important about it. Although I don’t think the revolution or apocalypse will come in any short amount of time. I feel like these things take hundreds of years. But then again, quantum leaps happen all the time.
Spirituality, I realized a few days ago, can be viewed as a theory, by the definition of theory. That is a hypothesis that matches the observations that have been made and is predictive of those to come. I realized I use spirituality in this way. I observe the world and look for patterns. My theory of spirituality isn't one that can be written down or argued for, but it still explains what has been and what is to come in the same way the theory of evolution explains what has been and what is to come. Its strange how unexplainable spirituality is, but that in itself has been predicted by my theory of spirituality. This way of thinking, I suppose, makes me a spiritual scientist. And it feels to say that.
I think a field of consciousness exists that effects and connects everything. Like gravity, its effect is vary real even when nobody can explain the sensation -or even realize its existence in the first place. And thats the collective dream, the field of consciousness in which we are creating john Lennon's and 9/11s. This ideas really not anything 'out there' or 'wild' as its generally made out to be. Its just something that you notice when you start to wake up. It can be argued for in something like : every mind projects a holographic image of reality that is generally agreed upon among all minds. Minds interact in this holographic image together by overlapping all of the individual holograms. Then all minds together make up a single unit (global consciousness) composed of many units (minds) in the same way all cells together make up a single organism. At the moment all these minds can only realize a small portion of their holographic overlap. This portion of overlap can be thought of as the sphere of communication available to each mind. Some have expanded their sphere to include everything, and thus have total communication with everything and have the experience of being part of the whole. Other minds have a smaller sphere of communication and cant sense the entirety of the whole all at once. Imagine being a cell in an animal that can only communicate with 10 of its neighboring cells, it could not possibly understand why its manufacturing some hormone, and thus might stop the production because it cant understand the consequence for the whole organism. A cell that can communicate with every other cell in the animals body knows the purpose of making that hormone and it understands the effects of its actions on the whole. It understands that stopping hormonal production will damage the entire organism and thus itself. It follows that we are all parts of a whole and we effect the whole even if we cant understand it. If we all expanded our sphere of communication we would all experience one another directly and immediately and understand the whole that we make. The people who don't understand this are analogous to cancer cells -greedy, resource robbing replicating diseases that are detrimental to the whole organism.
I think that all our spheres of communication are growing because of our communication age. Even for those who don't think and don't strive to expand their awareness are doing so naturally by means of media, and recently social networking. Social networking allows minds to aggregate and expand into one another, ultimately causing the unconscious myspace user to slowly become aware of the whole in which they exist. I like to think that site like myspace are the training wheels for global consciousness. I don’t think things will get any better without such expansion.
Lately I’ve been noticing that whenever I have a moment of realization I distinctly feel geometric shapes in a ‘cloud around’ my head. I didn't have any of those moments writing this, just the sensation of a nebula condensing into stars on a micro scale. Increasingly I’ve been able to see/feel auras of things. Its a whole body experience, not a visual experience. Im a little hesitant to say that I can see auras just yet. Ill give it some more time, its very fuzzy right now. Maybe it will become totally clear one day, like a big bright ultra colored rainbow.
