Joss Whedon's
Much Ado About Nothing is AMAZING and needs to be widely seen! Sensitive and well-updated, it really showcases the language and the actors, who are amazing. Amy Acker is a standout Beatrice, and Clark Gregg brings Leonato to full life without stealing the spotlight (although he could if he wanted.) Alexis Denisof gives a very decent Benedick, and Nathan Fillion's Dogberry gracefully straddles that uncanny line between hilarity and subtlety. Additional points for Mr. Whedon's amazing score. Any problems I had with the film lay entirely in the text, which is quite a compliment to the production when I think about it. In any case, well very done and so worth seeing.
