Food I made today. Nothing particularly innovative, but I'm so often at a loss for what to eat that I'm just going to archive anything that comes out good enough so I can have easy access to wide variety. I need a food icon. And I need to start taking more food photos.

Smoothie:
2 medium bananas
1 large handful strawberries
1 small handful raspberries
2 1/2 Tbs. hemp seed
1 1/2 Tbs. flax seed
Whole, plain, unsweetened kefir

Made 3 small servings.

Bean Egg Curry:
5 eggs
1 can black beans, rinsed and drained
Three large handfuls of spinach
1 large tomato
1 small yellow onion
1/2 a bulb of garlic
spices are approximate:
1 Tbs. curry powder
2 tsp. basil
2 tsp. oregano
1 tsp. parsley
1 tsp. thyme
1 tsp. black pepper
several dashes garlic salt
two dashes of cayenne pepper

Also made 3 smallish servings.

Wash and chop all ingredients. Mix eggs. Heat butter on skillet. Add eggs and cook until done. Remove from pan and set aside. Add more butter to skillet, add garlic and onions, sautee for a minute. Add spinach, sautee for another minute. Add tomatoes, sautee for another minute. Add black beans and spices. Thoroughly mix until everything is incorporated and well heated. Mix into bowl with set aside eggs.

Snack: Macadamia nuts.

Today was rather productive. Nonetheless I felt rather gloomy for most of it.

Bad: Way too much coffee. Way too many cigarettes. Too much time sitting on the couch in the hot stuffy garage in front of the computer. Not enough food. Unstable friend arriving unannounced and requesting that I call the cops on him so he can be taken to mental hospital. Not particularly anxious, but not well.

Good: Woke up early. Made easy to follow to-do list. Started brainstorming ideas for food, sleep, exercise, activity, pain, mood journal and graphs. Called pain management doctors, psychiatrist, and general practitioner. Made definite plans to go to Kaiser to get questions answered tomorrow. Had long, supportive, productive telephone conversation with friend. Cooked good food for and ate with friends. Only minimal pain.

In general:
I want to make lemon thyme sorbet, basil lime sorbet, and grapefruit mint sorbet.
I want to make real ginger beer with hibiscus.
I want to write good poetry.

Over the next two weeks:
I want to make myself clean, sleep, eat, exercise, and leave the house.
I want to start my journal.
I want to contact temp. agencies.
I want to read more good books and less internet.
I want to actually see a psychiatrist and pain management specialist. I don't know if this is financially feasible.
The rest should be.
