Tomorrow it's supposed to cool down! All the way to the upper 90's, oh boy! It was one of those days where you just feel gross. I freshened up into new sets of underwear twice before I finally just took a cold shower. It was glorious. oh i wasn't saying that oppostion was at all a strictly conservative stance, since there are multitudes of reasons to be against it (in fact, many gays themselves oppose the idea). though its possible that i mischaracterized our heha by assuming conserve-itude. thats just the impression i got the few times we hung out in college...
i didn't know much about ron paul but i browsed a few summaries of his ideas and stances on things and i admire his consistency, how his political philosiphies actually line up with his positions on issues. once again i am not suprised to see that i agree with someone who is supposedly on the opposide side of the left-right "spectrum" (a false dichotomy if there ever was one. only TWO directions?) just as much as i do with the party i usually end up supporting. (i often say "i am so far left i've come back around to libertarian"). i wish there could be more bi-partisan support for issues that obviously address shared values/goals (though specific motivations might differ) without being accusations of being a "traitor." sheesh!
