The coat arrived...le manteau c'est ici!
Yeah,that's right...it arrived actually yesterday afternoon so when I was telling Sharon about it at work little did I know it was already at home waiting for me!
So when I got home I saw the huge box waiting by the door and I was so excited!Mum forgot to mention it had arrived as she had been telling me about my cousin phoning from Florida on the way home and she told her to phone back as she was about to pick me up from work when she phoned.
So I was quite eager to open it and it was well wrapped but when I did open it I was quite pleased with it,the only problem was that the sleeves on the coat were huge,so after mum had dinner,we got the sewing machine out and altered it pulling them in from the inside...funny thing is,the body is fine if a bit big but that's no real problem to me as I'm fond of my jumpers anyhow.
So we sucessfully managed it,me keeping my paws crossed it would be ok as she ran the sewing machine over it and lucky it was...phew...*mew*!
So I wore it for the first time today into town and I will be wearing it over my days off as well....can't wait to tell Zara though,tomorrow...she said it would arrive in good time as well...and I had a thought that that might happen,it would arrive in the evening or late afternoon or something....it would be sat on the doorstep when we got in or suchlike...so I was partly right as I thought I would be with her when she found it,which I wasn't as she had just taken me to work...
So I'll also be wearing it when we go to pick up my relatives from the bus station on Christmas eve!
So yeah,there you have it...I now have it!
Oh and a little note to fuschiagrl1...I got your present this afternoon and will mail it to you possibly next week...I hope you'll like it...*mew*
