Ah. It was basically just a fortune telling card trick that Lockon learnt from a fellow officer when he was younger. He was all D:< WAR IS SRS BSNS but when Lockon gained more experience, he learnt that war isn't fair and not everything goes as planned and that like a game of cards, there's a lot of chance involved. Does that clear it up? o:

But are somethings there are tradition [it isn't the word I meaned, but it almost the one I'm not finding a translation right now]. Here, we have the tradition if you dream with a tooth, someone close to you will die. If you dream with the death of someone, this person will have more years of live.
