"I've begun to hear the siren song again..."
First week of work is done! I submitted my time card and should get paid some... time next week? I never actually asked if I was weekly or not. My experience with contract/temp positions suggests weekly though.
It's been pretty fun so far, despite the 7 am wake up time. :) I've been spending time using a digital microscope this week, it's awesome (I'm not actually looking at cells though, that would be extra awesome). And next week is going to be figuring out where this project goes next and then starting on that. Whee!
And now I am home, have been for hours. Becky has gone home after our little happy hour (or three). I am watching Troian to see if he will need a trip to the vet tomorrow (he's been throwing up and possibly not eating as much as he should) and trying to decide on dinner for me. I wish there were more places that would deliver food to me...
