Thank you so much! It's a bit darker than I'd originally intended, but it just kind of wrote itself after a while. I like your icon, btw! :)

Oh no, it wasn't difficult to read in that sense, everything was clear, it was just hard because of what was happening between them, it was so bleak and horrible and heartrending.

Oh, okay! Glad to hear it! It kind of took on a mind of its own when I got to a certain point, and it came out a lot darker than I'd intended. (By the way, I love your icon!)

I'm going to say ditto to what sea_thoughts said. Very well written and you did an excellent job of portraying their emotions - the love, the hate, the desperation.
