Will the ash ever go away?

Of course. It's not as if there's an infinite amount.

It feels like it won't ever stop.

It will. We may have to wait a bit, but it will. At least it's not so thick that it blocks out the sun anymore, hmm?

We could breath better then though.

Well, it was higher in the sky then.

Now it's lower and we can't breath. I think I preferred when the sun was gone.

This, too, shall pass. We simply have to bear with it until then.

If there was anything I could do to make the ash go away sooner, I would. It's not all bad, though. Volcanic ash is extremely fertile -- it may help life come back to the soil here.

So... it will make things grow when it's done?

Will it make fish grow?

Plants, actually. But maybe if ash lands in the lake, plants will grow in the lake, and fish will come to eat them.

This is entirely speculation, mind.
