And I know y'all have you hearts in the right place, but please, don't act all surprised that the most contentious and hardcore religious right folks are also against birth control. They've been saying for a long time that oral contraception is an abortifacient, after all.
Pro-choice folks act all indignant that anti-choice folks don't take the woman into account.
Folks, it wasn't ever about the woman. It was about new souls for Christ. So a live baby, who can be baptized, delivered of a dead or dying woman (who has presumably already been baptized) is a no brainer. This has shaped the entire argument of fetus vs woman in reproductive healthcare.
