I've reached the point where I'm feeling sad for Kansas that the characters in Jericho aren't real. Kansas could use the help.

I emailed a co-worker the Comics Alliance link of Westboro protesting at Comic Con in 2010. All I could think of was "wow, the nerd nation is going to rise up and smite thee".

What is saddest to me are the kids who are being raised to perpetrate this hatred and bigotry.
