Did everybody enjoy my meal yesterday? I worked very hard on that, and you certainly seemed to find it good. Such a challenge, but such enjoyment was to be found in making such a wonderful selection of dishes.
Megumi came in the robes I gave her... she looked so very, very beautiful. I don't think I ever realised just how beautiful she was until that moment...
Well, today is a new day. Apparently, it is something called 'Boxing Day,' which I do not fully understand, but I will be leaving some money with various... people today. Anonymously, of course, so none of you that I have in mind can try and give it back. Many do not like to take money, but I have plenty, and I consider it a deserved gift.
I discovered a kitten in the snow earlier... skinny and wet and almost dead. When I reached down to pet the poor thing, she could barely stand up enough to greet me. I should not like to know who would leave an innocent, helpless soul to die in the snow like that, but for now, I am taking care of her. I had to hold her when she ate, she is so weak. She is currently curled up in a blanket not far from the radiator, and I don't like to leave her alone for too long, so I should probably check back when on my errands. Were that there was an animal doctor in this city!
