I can gather from my flist that (in between the squees and sobs) some people think that House deserves Wilson's considerable fury. I don't agree.
I agree wholeheartedly with this, which is why I'm possibly not looking forward to melodramatic Wilson-angst next season.
House a) didn't sleep with her after all and b) didn't mean for her to get on the bus or come and pick him up in the first place.
I thought the whole idea was that Amber died for a stupid pointless reason. Bus crash + whatever it was overdose + lack of ID = huuuuuge misfortune.

Oh, God, when House said he didn't want to be in pain anymore? My heart melted a little bit.

On the other hand, Wilson deliberately and openly asked his friend to risk his life, which said friend promptly did.
I thought that was classic Wilson. "Okay, I'm making a compromise here. Now stick this wire in your brain, WHICH HAS ALREADY BEEN JOGGLED AROUND."

I always find it funny that Americans are all like "I NEED TO TAKE THIS PRESCRIPTION MEDICINE FOR THE SNIFFLES." Seriously. Before that ep with the kid who was taking cold tablets that turned out to be gout medication, I didn't even know that 'cold tablets' were anything more than Butter Menthols and Codral. I know it's becoming more widespread here, but I'd just never come across it. Cold remedies in my family were always disgusting herbal teas and/or Vicks.
