Snagged from jedisapphire ;-)

Post a single sentence from each WIP that you have (or as many as you want to pick). No context, no explanations. No more than one sentence! This should be lots of fun and will hopefully motivate me to start working on said WIPs again! *rubs hands ( Read more... )

Yay! You did this. *g*

I can't even decide which ones I'm looking forward to most.

He felt like strangling Elrohir for not telling him more.
This makes me wonder who 'he' is - there are loads of possibilities, all of them fun. :D

Seeing the silver-haired healer standing there instead of Legolas made Aragorn feel even more worried than he already was - in all the years since he had befriended the elven prince, being greeted by Nestadren instead of his friend had never been a good sign at all.
Uh-oh... Elves in danger?

“Things like that don’t happen to dwarves!“ an outraged-sounding voice barked from somewhere inside the darkness.
This sounds like it will be a delightful fic. *bg* Darkness? Caves? Gimli?

Rain began to pour down from the low-hanging clouds, dripping from the leaves and branches of the trees and turning roads and pathways into muddy morass, soaking anyone who was unfortunate enough to be on the way at this late time of the day.
Oh, please tell me this has a bedraggled Legolas wading through knee-deep water. *begs*

I couldn't resist! *g*

I think I'll bend the rules a bit, so I can at least make some hints regarding those stories. ;-)

Hehe, I better don't say anything to that!

That one will definitely be an angsty story.

Your guesses are very close to the mark and yes, that's Gimli. This story should be fun. :D

Well... it will at least have Legolas in it. *g*

I'd like to see that one, too - it's one of the stories I've been working on for ages. :P

It's certainly been very motivating to read through all those fics again and hear your comments - I wish I could write on all of them at the same time, lol!

Oooh, which is most intriguing! Hard to say, but I find myself most curious about 4, 8 and 10!

That's it, then, young lady! No more LJ'ing or anything else until you get these stories written. *grin*

That meme is fun, isn't it? ;-) Hehe, you've managed to choose all the difficult stories! Which is a good thing, because I'll certainly need all the motivation I can get to finish them. *g*

Wah, noooooooooo! I need my daily dose of LJ, and DA, and OAA, and ff.net, and... Oh dear. O_O How shall I ever find the time to get those stories written? LOL!

Oh come on give us more please!!!!!!I'm thirsty for good stories.......
Wow all the phrases sound excellent, but to me the more exciting are 3, 4, 9 and 10, because I love when Legolas is tortured though is my favorite character and everybody could think that you don't want nothing happen to him, but for me is the other way.

Hehe, it seems I really have to start writing now! :D
Most of those stories are angsty stories and elf-angst will be a large part of it. ;-) I think in the fanfiction world, most of us tend to like bad things happening to our favourite character, as strange as it may sound. *g* Legolas is my favourite character, too, though closely followed by Aragorn. :)

I have an awful confession to make. I've not yet read any of your stories, but ALL these make me want to dive right in. If I have to pick just one, it would be number 10.

LOL, that's not awful at all! I fear I haven't read any of your stories yet, either. I think we've just never crossed paths before!
Number 10 is the story I'd like to see finished most of all - I believe it's the most difficult one I've ever been working on, but it also seems to be the one most people want to read, which is definitely very motivating. *g*

I was really curious which of the quotes would rouse people's interest. I have to admit I was a bit surprised by the results. ;-) I wish I could read the quotes without knowing what they're all about - I wonder how I'd see them then. *g*

OOOH! I definitely want to see more of numbers 5 and 10. 1 looks like it might just be one of your great friendship stories so I'm very interested in that too. 3 and 4 are deligtfully mysterious. And...arg...I just want to see all of them *grin*

LOL! Now I'm really feeling motivated. *g* 5 and 10 are two of the angsty ones - I'd like to see them finished, too. I'd like to see all of them finished. ;-) It seems I really need to start writing now! :)
