Hi again! :)
If you've been wondering where I'd gone to, I was busy frantically trying to read through the stories nominated for the MC Awards before voting was closed. Well, I had to skip the WIPs in the end, but at least I managed to vote for everything else. ;-)
Two of my new stories are now posted on fanfiction.net in their beta-ed and likely final version. So, if you are bored, looking for something to read, or, in case you're a member of the Owners of Aragorn Angst yahoo group, want to read my stories without mistakes or funny symbols in them, feel free to take a look. ;-)
I'd also like to add that you can find all my new stories by clicking on the 'My Stories 2008' link in the left-hand column. I'm planning to add a link where you can find all my stories soon. :)

I find it quite interesting that most of my new stories (written this year) have been at least partly inspired by my new surroundings. That is a result I surely didn't expect from moving into a new apartment. It's so wonderful to be completely surrounded by nature now! I can honestly say I never experienced autumn more vividly than this year. I don't know how I ever survived living in the city for so long! Well, to get back to the original topic, the way I described the mist in "The Fifth Walker" was inspired by the beautiful misty mornings we had here for weeks. Our apartment is situated between a river and a canal, and there's lots of mist rising from the river in autumn. *happy sigh* To give you an idea, here's a picture:
You can see quite nicely the wall of mist moving in on our house. Of course I had to share that experience with my favourite elf and ranger! :D
