Another day in the neighborhood
Well the run to Baghdad yesterday went well. Was quiet the whole way. Hot as balls though...that is if the balls in question were trown in a microwave that is located in the center of the Sun. Sitting up in the turret with a 240G mounted on a flex-mount for the whole trip was not fun. By the time we got back I was dripping sweat. Ah well. I'm back now.
Gotta wake up at 0dark-thirty and beat feet to the S-3 for a FAM-fire and refresher on the SAW, M203 and 240G in preparation for my guard duty at the pumphouse.
