I haven't spoken with you in such a long time. From what I read, the last I posted was 30 weeks ago. Bajeezus.
Anyways, I've been studying at Peking University for a while. Not many people know it in the states, but Peking University is the Harvard of China...nicknamed BeiDa. You've got master test takers here who competed against millions to get into this school. They are the top of the top.
I decided to come here to improve my proficiency in Chinese...and also to have something nice looking on my resume....=) So far its been intensive. Unfortunately the cost of this 1 year escapade doubles my debt to USC. A wonderful 33 grand.
To make more of my trip, I decided before I came to China that I would shoot a documentary web series for fun about my journey from the time I arrived to the Beijing 2008 Olympics.
This idea started as something small and eventually became something bigger. USC's new US-China institute wanted to help me feature my videos. So...that's that.
