Let it be known:
Beverly Hills Cop is a great film.
And not great in the way that pseudo-elitist-intellectuals say pop-films are great for what they can teach us about the societal context within which they were made ... it's just a good fucking movie.
Cool script. Fun music. The actors obviously enjoyed themselves.
And it's just about half "predictable storyline," and half "impromptu blabber." With some low-down, no-pride schtick peppered about.
And that's wonderful.
