Super Junior/TVXQ crossover: Siwon/Junsu
G; Romance, Angst
Siwon takes a sip of his espresso and sighs. He stares at the blank page on his laptop. The frown playing on his lips deepens. Deadlines, how he hates the word. Unfortunately for him, being a feature writer for a magazine, he’s faced with them on a regular basis. Just like now, Siwon muses as he takes another sip of his espresso. He places the cup down and rubs his temples.
The café doors open and the bells jingle. Siwon’s eyes quickly dart to the door, not because he’s expecting some company but more out of habit. He watches as two high school girls enter the café and walk towards an empty table near the windows. Siwon’s gaze returns to his laptop, secretly hoping that a story had somehow typed itself onto the page by now. But of course, the page is still blank as ever.
A frustrated groan escapes his lips before he takes another sip of his espresso. Siwon sighs and tries to think of a good topic to write about. Writer’s block, that’s another word he hates. He’d write an article about writer’s block but he’d already written one last time. He needs something new, something he and the other writers in the magazine hadn’t written about, or at least, hadn’t written about recently.
The doors of the café open again and the jingling distracts him. His eyes dart toward the doors again and Siwon freezes in his spot as his gaze lands on him. A flood of emotions and memories instantly run through him.

“Siwon-hyung!” Junsu gasped for breath as he tried his best to catch up with the older boy. “Wait for me! You know I can’t run as fast as you.”
Siwon smirked but stopped running anyway. He stopped by the shrubbery to wait for him.
“Wait up!” Junsu, gasping for breath, shouted. It was minutes later that he managed to go to where Siwon was.
“What took you so long?” Siwon coolly asked.
Junsu took a deep breath first before answering. He wiped the sweat off his forehead and glared at the older boy. “Yah! You meanie! Why didn’t you wait up for me?”
“I just did. I was waiting here, wasn’t I?” Siwon grinned.
“You’re still a meanie… Mehrong.” Junsu threw daggers at Siwon and stuck his tongue out. The older boy merely chuckled. “Fine, I am a meanie.” He turned towards the shrubs, looked around and spotted a flower a few meters away. Siwon walked towards it and picked it. He went back to where Junsu was and handed him the flower.
“What’s this?” Junsu asked dumbly as he stared and smelled the fragrant white flower in his hand.
“It’s the meanie’s gift of apology.” Siwon said colly.
Junsu looked up at him and blushed a little. “T-Thanks.” He mumbled.
Siwon grinned leaned in closer to Junsu’s face and placed a kiss on the younger boy’s lips. Junsu turned into a deeper shade of red
“Come on.” The older boy muttered as he stared into the road in front of them. He took Junsu’s hand and held it. “This time this meanie won’t leave you. I’ll be by your side from now on.”

It was more than 15 years ago. They were young, naïve and as soon as they grew up they knew they were never meant for each other. Still, they had some good memories together.
But time passes and they’ve moved on.
Siwon watches as Junsu enters the café. Another man follows him in, thinner with neatly combed black hair and plump red lips. They held hands as they walk in and find a seat. Siwon smiles. There’s no jealousy, only happiness at seeing his first love once again.
Junsu turns his head, looking around for the waiter, when he spots him. They lock eyes and Junsu suddenly feels a wave of nostalgic feelings. Siwon is smiling. Junsu returns the smile.
Siwon suddenly has his inspiration to write his feature article.
