Things That Annoy Me Recently

A week or so ago I bought a bunch of Chinese ingredients online, and they've been slowly coming in the mail. On Tuesday the UPS guy left one of those 'you weren't home' slips on the door (even though Adam WAS home, they never knock, just leave the notices), so I signed it and stuck it back on the door. We all have days like this..but don't you wish ALL the bad stuff wouldn't pile up like that? Ugh.

And those naughty kitties... I've had cats make mischief in our place too. I feel for you.

Mostly the UPS driver! Yesterday they came and I saw them coming, so I answered the door & was like, "When I leave the signed slip on the door saying it's okay that you leave the packages, why didn't you leave the packages?" "Well, people could steal them." ...the whole point of signing the thing is that I acknowledge that people could steal them! Ugh. Whatever. I got most of my ingredients yesterday! I got chinkiang vinegar, shaoxing rice wine, black rice, different spices...so much fun. I just need to get fermented black beans, the place I ordered them from ran out.

You don't have an Asian grocery store? You can get most of the things there. Talking about Asian grocery stores, I'm going this afternoon. :D

We have four (so far we've checked out three), but they have a lot of Thai foods, and didn't have a lot of the things that Fuscia uses in her books.
